Harley-Davidson’s electric motorcycle will be provided with support for the HD Connect application for LiveWire.
Harley-Davidson, the world’s most well-known motorcycle manufacturer, recently switched to electric motor technology and showed the LiveWire model. LiveWire, which has become the center of attention with its pre-order processes, will now be famous for its technology.
LiveWire prepared for HD Connect system, according to a statement made in cooperation with IBM will provide great convenience to the drivers. In this system, which will be supported by the technologies of IBM’s artificial intelligence and objects, the safety of the driver will be prioritized.
Marc McAllister, Deputy Director of Product Planning and Portfolio at Harley-Davidson, emphasized that the LiveWire model will remain connected at any time through the cloud and will be a good help to the driver.
With HD Connect, drivers can get up-to-date information on their motorcycles at any time and anywhere. This will include details such as the battery status, the estimated range and the location of the nearest charging points.
This new concept of experience that will rise on the basis of IBM Cloud shows that not only will we produce a vehicle with an electric motor. Apparently, the electric and autonomous systems in the automobile sector will also show itself better on the motorcycle.
